warm cozy fire in your outdoor firepit (the woods on us), or snuggle up in front of your indoor gaslog fireplace.
Make seperate reservations and enjoy a 1hr. or longer professional message at your chalet (subject
to availability).
Wake up early and enjoy the "SPECTACULAR" sunrise over a cup of hot
coffee on your private deck. Every season offers a chance to see nature at its' grandest.
The perfect
place to get away from it all and just plain "KICK BACK & RELAX"!! Or......sit on your comfortable
covered deck and plan your one of many day trip opportunities.
Our newly remodeled mountain chalet
can accommodate up to six comfortably. Our rear deck is very secluded and overlooks the beautiful "Roaring Fork"
valley below.
Whitewater rafting, horseback riding, trap shooting, biking, site seeing,
rock climbing are all local activities and attractions. Hike the nearby Appalacian Trail and Pisgah National Forest.
Fish the many nearby trout streams for your next gourmet dinner.
Sit in the yard or take
a short walk to view the local "wildlife". Deer, turkeys, squirrels, rabbits, bobcats and yes, the occasional blackbear. All
have allowed us to share their home on the mountain.
Search for "Bigfoot", or mountain treasure.
Orrrr.... take a short drive into Hot Springs N.C. for some good ole Smoky Mountain Hospitality.
Train rides, mountain festivals, arts & craft shows, golfing, gambling, Cherokee Indian lore, historic Biltmore
Estate, Chimney Rock and many other activities are all within a scenic mountain drive of the Chalet.
